Textbook Buyback Company MyBookBuyer.com Launches Affiliate Program

Milpitas, CA (Vocus) May 18, 2010

Textbook buyback company MyBookBuyer launched an affiliate program today that will allow student organizations, website owners, and bloggers to earn money by referring customers to sell books and textbooks on the MyBookBuyer.com.

The popular textbook buyback service is giving registered affiliates to earn 10% of the value of every order they refer. Affiliates are given a customized link that they can put on their website or blog and start earning a commission on every book sold by someone who came through their link.

MyBookBuyer is specifically looking at student organizations as a group that could particularly benefit from becoming affiliates. Fraternities, sororities, clubs and all kinds of student groups have one thing in common: they know lots of students, all of whom want to sell textbooks back at the end of the semester. With the MyBookBuyer affiliate program, the end of each term could mean another golden fundraising opportunity.

There are several ways student groups can promote their affiliate link and raise money for their organization. They can encourage their own members to go through the affiliate link when they sell used textbooks, or ask their friends to support their group by doing the same. They can also promote their link in creative ways around campus, handing out fliers or even just posting the link on the board in classrooms after class.

Affiliates get paid once their account reaches $ 100. To celebrate the launch of the program the company is offering a bonus to help affiliates reach the $ 100 payout level faster. In addition to the 10% commission, MyBookBuyer is offering a $ 50 credit to every affiliate just for signing up.

Starting out half way to the payout level, it doesnt take too many textbooks for a student group to start raising some serious money for their organization.

Student organizations arent the only ones who can benefit from the MyBookBuyer affiliate program. Other content creators are welcome to join, and there is just as much potential to earn sizable commissions, especially for those whos website or blog has to do with books, textbooks or college.
